Welcome to Monkey Minds.
I started down the path of meditation and mindful living just over four years ago when I was looking for a way to help my daughter Ava who was struggling with anxiety. After reading everything I could find on the subject and learning about all the benefits it could provide her, the two of us started practising daily meditation.
Immediately I noticed a profound difference in not only her anxiety and worries but she was more confident and happier than I had ever seen her before. I myself became more clear-headed and focused and started to look forward to my daily practice. The whole experience made such a big impact on our family that I decided I wanted to share this knowledge with other children and hopefully make a difference in more lives.

In the Spring of 2016, I completed the teacher training with Lifestyle Meditation and received my Certification to teach Mindfulness Meditation to Children and Teens. The course was a life-changing experience and with the support of my family, friends and the circle of amazing meditation instructors, Monkey Minds was born.
I believe the best gift we can offer our children is giving them the tools to deal with their worries, anxieties and big emotions in a positive way. I am also so grateful for my daughter Ava, she is truly my biggest inspiration and the foundation for Monkey Minds.
Mindfully Yours,
Terri
