Why Schools Love Monkey Minds
Monkey Minds came to my grade one class and offered a valuable and grade appropriate message. Terri teaches a very engaging lesson and the children were captivated the whole time. Meditation and mindfulness is essential in today's world and the earlier we can teach children techniques and strategies the better. Monkey Minds is an EXCELLENT resource for the classroom and I highly recommend the program to other teachers of all grade levels. I look forward to having Terri back again soon.

Firstly, thank you very much for coming in to do the mindfulness workshop with the children last week. We truly believe that they all benefited from the session and now have strategies to use to help them both in class and their everyday lives.
As far feedback. Here is what we all thought:
Merci,

As far feedback. Here is what we all thought:
- You were very well organized,
- You had all the materials ready to go and everything was thoughtfully prepared
- You did a great job explaining to the children HOW to do the deep belly breaths and HOW and WHY we need to be calm and present
- You were very positive, calm and flexible with the students (giving Mme Victoria’s class their recess break)
Merci,

Thanks so much to Terri and Monkey Minds for sharing some great lessons with my son. He soooo loved the opportunity to learn about it at school. I heard all about the gem and the beads and the word search and the meditation. He’s a deep deep thinker and is very aware of the ever changing world around him. I love any new tools he can have in his toolbox to help with his self-esteem and mindfulness. We had some deep conversations after the session and I will be reminding him of the skills he learned into the future. Funny, hearing things from you, he heard them. Lol. He was in the moment with you. Love it. ❤️
Learning the skill of living in the moment and taking it all in is especially important for the generation we are now raising. He’s a ten year old who always needs two electronics on the go - usually a video game system at the same time the iPad is playing YouTube. He’s always got so much noise and stimulation around him, I am often concerned he misses the amazing everyday moments in life. The art of mediation or being grounded or paying attention to all your senses is so important. And the strength that comes from accepting who you are amongst the constant comparison to others are the two skills I most need him to acquire. Monkey Minds added to that foundation. Monkey Minds is helping build the next generation with the tools necessary to not only succeed, but to be present and open hearted while achieving these great things.
